There’s a lot of potential in the web 2.0 aggregation space. Ultimately, web 2.0/the new web is all about how to share your life and learn about/connect to the lives of others. Here’s my grand plan:
1) Start by tearing down the social networking walls to create a grand social network (GSN, for short)
2) Integrate fast communication mediums (e.g., Twitter, blogging) into the GSN
3) Layer in all the media-sharing services – after all, how useful would Flickr be as a standalone service if the GSN allowed you to do pretty much all the things Flickr currently does (e.g., post photos, tag and share those photos with friends, comment and discover new photos). Facebook is already 2/3 of the way there
3) HAVE JUST ONE LOG-IN. No more “guess-the-password” for users
Does anyone think there’s anything missing? You can eventually even layer in business productivity tools (a la Basecamp, Google Docs, and Pownce)
